School started Monday and it was a bit rocky because Zoom didn’t work, but other than that, it’s going well so far. That said, Sterling’s preschool is starting remotely. Seriously? The whole point of preschool is daycare.
Still no freakin’ eggs, I’m checking every morning. I don’t know how much I can stress to you that I really want eggs. Maybe they’re waiting until my birthday this weekend. Fingers crossed.
Speaking of bdays, my mom came in on Wednesday and we’re all really excited. She’ll be here for five days so we’re jamming a bunch of stuff in. She is risking life and limb to be here for my big day (also she’s super bored), so we better make it count.
We’re headed to Jellystone Park and staying in an awesome cabin with some friends. I. Can’t. Wait. I can also do some research on my new project: creating a campground with permaculture and offering a farm-to-table restaurant service. Dunno about you, but that sounds fabulous to me. And Tag’s getting more and more into the idea every day. (I’m whispering it into his ear while he’s asleep. Shhhh…)
Oh, yes, and Tag had his surgery and all went great. He sat around with ice on his nether region for a few days. He milked it.
On a sad note, the wildfires are not good. They’re really affecting our neighborhood with haze, smell, and even ash. Plus, the air quality is tanking. It’s really upsetting.

Okay, well all is going great with my listings, inspections, appraisals. Pine and Franktown are both progressing seamlessly. Gotta love that.
And on a personal note, we ended up putting an offer in on the condo we looked at last week and we got it! It’s our first investment property so I’m eager to experience the process and I’ll be sure to keep you all in the loop. The condo development we are buying in has others available- if you’re interested let me know! Ours is in great shape, we’re putting in a washer and dryer and taking out some carpet for the hard floor, but that’s pretty much it.
It’s a 1/1 and we’ll charge about $1200 per month, including most of the utilities. Know anyone needs a place to rent? Let me know. Hopefully, our renters will end up using me to help them purchase their new home. How’s that for business savvy?
We’re using Keller Mortgage which is a mortgage company for people who use Keller Wiliams agents and they don’t charge all the fees because their goal is to promote Keller Williams agents. I’ll take it. So far it’s been an easy process. I’m looking forward to getting through it and then promoting it to my clients.
Alright, I know this was short and sweet, but I have a birthday to prep for, y’all! See you when I’m 34 cough cough 36!
