Oh, nothing, just on a sailboat off the coast of Capri, watching fish jump out of the water while all the yachts owned by the billionaires are passing by. No biggie.
Actually, it’s all a biggie. Italy is insanely wonderful. We just swam in the Blue Grotto, this cave where the water is the brightest blue in the history of bright blue. It’s incredible, unlike anything I’ve ever seen. This trip has surpassed expectations, and it’s not even halfway over.
My dad and sister met us in Salerno a couple days ago. We all traveled around a bit and have been sailing together since. We disembark in all the little towns, and it’s nice but crazy expensive and super hot, so we all like the boat best, which is good because we have three nights left on it.
We saw David in Florence, visited San Gimignano, went inside and toured the Leaning Tower of Pisa, ate at Osteria Al Ponte, drove through Tuscany, stayed in a villa there, went to this pretty cool medieval village place and torture museum that may or may not have scarred my children for life, and continue to eat lots of impressive food.
The gelato, man. It’s a reason to move here.
Next stop: Rome.
