Mediera, You Are Missed & Loved

Mediera, You Are Missed & Loved

Welp, we’re back. I want to be in Mediera, but alas, we’re in Boston. It was a long flight home, and I’m so tired. Honestly, I can’t believe it’s over! There was so much anticipation and now it’s just done. Crazy. Seems like an eternity ago it started.

The trip was a great success. We all had so much fun. The best part was renting electric scooters and sightseeing, but there were literally hundreds of “bests.” We even checked out schools for the kids because we’re truly considering moving there. It’s perfect in Mediera.

You can swim year-round, the weather is perfection, there’s no big animals like bears or mountain lions, it’s safe, no fires or hurricanes, easy flights in and out, everyone speaks English, AND Tag and I both got our tax ID numbers, and I met with a realtor who said I could start working there tomorrow.

This is not impossible, folks. We found an area we like a lot, too. The kids are on board. I mean… Who knows? We’ve done a lot of research because we all enjoyed it so much.

The plan is to sell the Airbnb in Florida when the time is right and use the money to invest in a place there. It’s also affordable; the price of living is much less than in the USA. For example, we got four gelatos there, which totaled 8 euros, and four ice creams here, which totaled $25.

To be fair, restaurants are kind of expensive, but groceries are super cheap. And everyone just walks and it’s so lovely. And they’re all so friendly.

The only negative, I’d say, is that Portuguese is tough to learn. Oh! And CrossFit there is no joke. I took a class, and it was outside. Man, oh, man. It was fun, and I'm glad I did it, but yeah, no joke.

My Colorado Real Estate Activity

Coming home to work is actually welcomed. I do love my job, and I missed it, so it’s good to get back into the swing of things.

I’ll update you on all the stuff, but good things are in the works!
