Serling and I went on a little date to see Wild Robot. 5 stars! Go see it. It’s so cute. And spending the day with Sterling was also super fun. I forget how great the one-on-one time is with the kids. Gotta make more time for those days. And while I was at the movies with Sterling, Adam and Bridger went to the Rocky’s game for some uncle-nephew time. Love it.
Can you believe it? Thanksgiving is around the corner! I’m thrilled. We’re taking the kids out of school early and going to Boston to see my sister. We may do some traveling to see some friends in Georgia, too.
Speaking of… How about Helene? That storm was an absolute monster. There was so much damage so far inland. I didn’t know that was even possible. There are literally missing towns and so many missing people, and it’s just tragic. Our FL house survived with very minimal yard damage. We’re so lucky, and all of our friends who were on the storm’s path got lucky, too.

So, we’re doing a thing where we turn off all screens by 7:30 p.m. It started rough, but now we’re all into it—even the kids. Last night, I was trying to watch something and was told in no uncertain terms to stop immediately. In fact, Sterling had to remove the remote from me. Annoying and proud.
Now, after 7:30 p.m., we play games or cards, do puzzles, just hang out and talk. It’s really nice to have that time together.
Ski season is coming. That’s something to look forward to. You guys got your passes?
My Colorado Real Estate Activity
I currently have three properties under contract and just submitted an offer for a past client, which is cool. I have a land listing coming up, too. So, lots of work is being done!
The Quail Street listing in Arvada is under contract! That means my clients are selling and buying, and things are gonna move faster than ever. It’s actually the quickest closing I’ve ever been involved with where a lender was involved. Hoping it all goes smoothly.
And the HUD house is FINALLY off my plate. We closed after two years of working on that sale. It was a great learning experience but tons of work. There were many hurdles, but all were successfully managed, and here we are—DONE. Everyone’s happy. We almost missed the cutoff date on the short sale approval letter and found out about that at the closing, so that was stressful. We got an extension in the 11th hour, which was truly the most appropriate way for that transaction to end.
