House Closings in Denver & All the Books

Hope you all had a nice Valentine’s Day! Tag and I had dancing class, so that was fun, but we went out to dinner last weekend for an early Valentine’s date (so that we got two dates instead of one). Anyway, we got the best Indian food EVER. I mean, my mouth is still watering and it was vegan. Mind blown.

And over the weekend, we did loads of sledding, too. Why not take full advantage of all this snow?

Book Babes had us reading a book called The Creative Act, by Rick Ruben. Highly recommend! At the same time, I was also reading Range by David Epstein for another book club and re-reading The Magic of Surrender by Kute Blackson. It’s an interesting perspective deviation about the same thing that somehow all work well together.

We had Sterling’s parent-teacher conference, which went great. To be honest he is struggling a bit with motivation. He’s super smart but if he isn't interested, good luck. There are some interventions available so we will be moving forward in that direction. He was chosen to recite a poem (out of his whole class, four kids were chosen), and it was so cute. The poem was called Snowball. Sterling was honored to be asked; just really proud of himself. It was sweet.

Trivia Night tonight! Do you guys love these things or no? I happen to love them. And we have an upcoming Loveland visit for the whole family to ski. We’ll be staying in Breckenridge, which will be so fun. Then, LA, baby! I’ll see my Bali buddies and start the coaching program with them. Really excited about this. Lots of good stuff coming up!

Words of Wisdom

Did you know that it’s proven to make you happier and healthier to have things to look forward to in your life? So, get to planning, people.

My Colorado Real Estate Activity

I was supposed to have a video tour done on one of my listings last week, but the video company was a no-show. Apparently, they forgot to put me down in their books. It happens. Soooo, I got to drive 2 hours round trip for no reason. Good thing I love driving and listening to podcasts. I know things like this come with the territory, but, still quite frustrating. Plus, I was excited to see the video come to fruition. We will be rescheduling soon.

On the plus side, though, I’m waiting for an offer on my Wilcox listing that should come today, and the Range View property and Star Ridge property are about to close. Everything seems to be moving along well with all things.

Oh, and I helped set up a panel in my office to support realtors regarding house issues to look for (stucco, roof, and foundation cracks). Everyone said they got a lot out of it. It was good. And then, we have a KW convention coming up that will be fun. Tag’s coming with me, so it’ll be a little mid-week vacay for us. Nice.
