Tag got me a stunning ring for our anniversary. We had a really out-of-the-ordinary engagement because I was pregnant with Bridger and the whole let’s-get-married thing was kind of more of an implication than an actual event. My mom and I ended up picking out my engagement band. And, you know, fine, but also, not fine. I mean, I’d like him to pick out the ring, you know? Put the effort in.

Well, he did, and it made my new ring that much more special. I love it so much, and he gave it to me at our anniversary dinner. It was kind of romantic and just a sweet gesture. So, check out my new bling when you see me next!

The kids are great, but Bridger collided with another kid at school yesterday, and so he skipped baseball and didn’t come with us to the Bonobo Concert last night at Red Rocks. He’s okay, but it bonked up his head pretty good. Tag and I chaperoned a trip for Sterling this week, which was cute. I chaperoned the same event for Bridger five years ago, so that’s kind of cool. It’s at Lookout Mountain Nature Center & Preserve. Fun little place to take your kids if you’re so inclined.

And if you’re wondering, yes, the concert was fab. We took my friend Molly instead of Bridger. It was Adam’s first Red Rocks show and mine and Tags first show together in a while. Did I mention we went there on our first date?! It’s a pretty sentimental place all around.

Okay, I still love my truck. If you’re considering getting an eclectic American truck, check out the Lightning. You’ll be so impressed.

And, finally, have you read A Court of Thorn and Roses? People are obsessed with this series. It’s for sure a guilty pleasure, and I can’t say I highly recommend it because of quality, but for entertainment: 10 out of 10.

My Colorado Real Estate Activity

We have my Dotty Rd. listing under contract again, and I’m so excited about it because everything in Pine is just sitting right now. The buyers are good, and everything is moving along nicely. I also just listed a house in Arvada and loads of people came to the open house so I’m hopeful we get some offers soon. One of the previous owners came by the open house and required lots of hugs. She had raised her kiddos in the house and got a bit teary. My HUD house is still pushing through like The Little Engine That Could. We’re supposed to close tomorrow.

Adam is still under contract with his first house. He’s also helping a colleague with some showings, so he’s quickly getting some great experience. I hope when his girlfriend comes at Christmas, he continues with this momentum (I’m looking at you, Adam)!

Speaking of Adam, he and I  toured a home in Evergreen at 222 Graystone Estates yesterday. It’s on the market for a measly $18,750,000, so if you have some chump change lying about, let me know, and I’ll take you to see it. If you can believe it, it was on the market for over $26M at one point. It has 18 bedrooms and 19 bathrooms! And if you ever take anything away from my blog posts, let it be this: mo’ bathrooms, mo’ problems. Facts. Anyway, I’ll took some videos and get them out there ASAP. FYI I think the market value is closer to $11.5 but you didn’t hear that from me!

Until next time my friends!
