Back in Colorado and attempting to get into the usual swing of things, but very tired. What a whirlwind. Can’t believe the summer is over.
I finally bit the bullet and got a new washing machine. To say I love it is an understatement. I don’t love the actual process of washing and folding and all the jazz, but the machine works great, and our clothes smell so good.
Also, got a Vitamix. Super happy about that. I got it from points on my Amazon Prime card. Bonus. Do you guys have any good recipes? Send my way, please!
Does anyone have a used electric car they want to get rid of? I’m actively looking. The hope is to get a charging station set up at my house (if possible) and then save loads of money. I mean, why not? Suggestions are welcome.
My coaching is going well. This week, though, I had a session that made me feel a bit raw. It was a lot. I was lucky to chat with my coach and team about it, which was incredibly helpful.
Adam's presence is a big help, too. He’s going to take his real estate test very soon, and we’re both eager! For now, he’s great to have around the house to help with the kids and all that comes along with having said kids.
Speaking of kids, next up: SCHOOL! Finally. The kids are just as excited as Tag and me, so that’s always a plus. It’s very sweet, they can’t wait to see their friends. Sterling had his red carpet event today for the first day of school, very cute as always. Bridger’s baseball is up in the air; we have a team we really want to get on, so that’s in the works. It’d be way less travel, so fingers crossed.
I think my connection with Medeira is weighing on me. How do we allow it to complement our lives? Although I do love my house, job, Colorado in the summer/ fall and friends, I know Madeira is calling me, so it’s on my mind.
My Colorado Real Estate Activity
Some past clients called out of the blue this week, and we went straight away to check out a home they’re very interested in. It looks to be a match, so hopefully, it moves forward.
The short sale is finally in its last faze. I believe we are good to go after some improvements are made, but they’re moving along swiftly.
We may have an offer coming in on one of my other listings, so I’m excited about that. However, there’s some roof damage that needs to be addressed, though.
Good to know: Most insurance companies will only accept a claim if the roof damage was done within the last year. Some will do two years, but those are hard to find. So, if you have roof damage, do not dilly-dally. Get the claim filed within the year!
I finally met with the developer I’ve been talking with for over a year. We went over his plans and what he expects from me. The development infrastructure can start very soon, so he’s finalizing his research on what people want and asked for my help. I’m working on getting that to him next week. I’m very excited about it. We could start selling houses in six months! Crazy.
