Welp, Bridger had some baseball games this week and ended up getting kneed in the face. He was completely passed out and remembers nothing. That’s the second concussion of many, I’m sure. It was actually pretty scary. For the next couple days, he’d have massive migraines and then aches and pains. He’s okay now, but, man, not a great experience for any of us.
On a much better note, he got his braces off, and he’s freaking adorbs if I do say so myself. Watch out, ladies. He’s got it going on between his beaming smile and trombone abilities.
He had a sweet band recital last week, which was the saddest thing because his band teacher is only going to teach orchestra starting next year. Everyone was crying—literally, everyone. She’s been the band teacher for 25 years and is tremendously loved. I didn’t even know her, and I bawled.
So, we decided to forgo the cat. We have enough on our plate in this house, you know? I think it’s a good call, but who knows? Ask me next week. Maybe we’ll have a cat.
Memorial Day is coming up, so big thanks to the many friends and families who lost their loved ones for our freedom. Tag and I are each taking part in the Murph Workout that day. To do it in full, it consists of a mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, and 300 squats, then another mile run. We’ll each be doing a quarter of that. Already sweating.
My Colorado Real Estate Activity
I showed my mother-in-law and grandmother-in-law some properties last week. It went very well. We put an offer in for a senior community unit in Evergreen, and we’re looking pretty good on that.
I had an excellent closing last Monday with the sweetest husband-wife duo. The wife part actually won a huge award recently, the Henle Award from the Board of the International Association for Research on Epstein-Barr Virus and Associated Diseases. It’s a mouthful, I know, but she does some good with a focus on child cancer. So, congratulations to Rose Rochford!
I went “Coming Soon” with the big $2.9M listing. It looks amazing! Check out the pics!
So, not to toot my own horn, but I’m one of the top hundred agents in CO for KW. We had a special mastermind for profitability yesterday, which made for an interesting afternoon. I learned some stuff and will certainly be implementing it.
