This past week was a whirlwind of activity, both personally and professionally, and I’m excited to share some highlights with you!
Personal Growth Meets Fitness Goals
I started the week with a DEXA scan and metabolic rate evaluation to fine-tune my diet and better align with my fitness goals. It’s amazing how much insight these tools can provide. One quirky discovery? My left arm has more muscle than my right, even though I’m right-handed! It’s a reminder that our bodies can be full of surprises.
These results have motivated me to keep pushing toward my goals, and I’d love to hear how you stay on track with your fitness and wellness journeys. What’s one thing that has helped you stay consistent?
Meet Ziggy, the Newest Family Member
Our home has been buzzing with the addition of Ziggy, our sweet kitten named after a dog my dad adored. Ziggy has quickly charmed us with his love for aggressive nose rubs and his gentle demeanor with the family.
The introduction process with Kamper, however, is still a work in progress. Kamper’s enthusiasm sometimes borders on overzealous, but each attempt to bring them together gets a little smoother. It’s a lesson in patience and persistence—and a hopeful sign that they’ll eventually be best buddies.
Pies, People, and Plenty of Gratitude
Friday through Sunday, I was on the road for 7-9 hours each day delivering Village Pie Maker pies to my clients. These pies are a fan favorite, and for good reason—they’re foolproof, baked straight from frozen, and absolutely delicious.
Beyond the pies, the best part of these deliveries is reconnecting with past clients. I love seeing how their homes have transformed since we worked together. Whether it’s a fresh coat of paint, a new kitchen, or a reimagined outdoor space, these renovations remind me how impactful change can be.
While delivering, I also collected donations for the Mountain Resource Center. The response was incredible—my clients helped me gather 136 pounds of food and supplies for local families in need. Knowing how great the need is, I’m determined to make donation drives a regular part of my business. If you have items to donate, let me know—I’d be happy to swing by and pick them up!
Professional Wins
On the real estate front, my listing at 95 Sioux Trail went under contract with ease. This charming cabin-style home, conveniently located near RTD and Pine Junction, attracted motivated buyers quickly. After receiving an offer, we countered, and everyone signed—no hurdles, just a smooth transaction.
For buyers, the current market offers unique advantages. With fewer competing buyers and motivated sellers, now is the perfect time to negotiate great deals. If you’re ready to make a move, don’t hesitate to reach out—I’d love to help you navigate this favorable market.
If you’re thinking about selling in the spring, now’s the time to start preparing. Focus on small improvements like fresh paint and flooring, as these updates offer the most return on investment. Declutter, organize, and tackle yard cleanup to boost curb appeal. And don’t forget to partner with a realtor early to ensure a smooth process from start to finish.
Looking Ahead
As I wrap up this busy week, I’m shifting gears and packing for a trip to Boston with my family for an early Thanksgiving. We’re all excited to spend quality time together, indulge in holiday traditions, and soak up the festive spirit.
How was your week? Whether it was filled with wins, challenges, or a mix of both, I’d love to hear about it. Let’s keep the conversation going and celebrate the transformations, big and small, in all aspects of life.
