Seeing Friends & Learning Stuff in California

I’m in LA! I'm continuing my coaching program here, and I don’t have much access to outside life, so this will be short and sweet.

I started my journey here in San Diego by visiting a good friend. I had to rent a car and was given an electric Mustang. I was a little shocked, to say the least, and also nervous. My experience with electric cars has been limited to a few seconds, driving my friend’s Tesla (a little too fast) on our dirt road and driving a test of a Subaru Solterra a few days ago.

I was given a car with about three-quarters of battery life and about 100 miles to drive. I was nervous, but I was going to visit one of my Book Babes, Patricia, so I mustered up the courage to just get in and go. All worked out! I made it, and we had such a good time together.

Not as much of a good time: Sterling broke his arm last week. He was at a friend’s house and fell off their trampoline. We thought it may have been a dislocated shoulder, but no such luck. Anyway, that was scary, but he’s okay. We went to the hospital in Capital Hill. They found a cyst in his arm, too. Again, scary.

Turns out he couldn't get a cast because of the location, and the cyst is non-cancerous and common in kids. It can weaken the bone, which is what happened in this case. I was overly concerned, of course, but the doctor’s nonchalance worked wonders on my psyche, and I left feeling okay(ish) about it.

I’m happy Adam is there, and we’re all really enjoying time together as a family, so I’m pretty excited to get back home.

Next up: ITALY!

My Colorado Real Estate Activity

All transactions are moving along nicely. There are lots of closings coming up, which is excellent. I also have a new Pine listing coming up. And I got an offer on my HUD house, so we’re about to go under contract on that, real happy to get that checked off my to-do list!
