Snow tires are on- right in time! Here’s another reminder to get that done!
This week, I took a client out for dinner for his birthday. I really love having such great clients and getting to know them on a more personal level. Buying or selling a home is a personal thing and shouldn’t be treated as a mere transaction on any level. In my opinion, anyway.
Tag and I had a date night at 3 Victoria Mexican in Conifer. I hadn’t been there forever (even though it’s literally next door to my office). I forgot how good it is. I ended up going twice last week (that’s where my client and I went, too). Anyway, I ran into some old clients there, and that was fun. They sat at the table behind us, and as they left, they noticed me (and shouted, “BEST REALTOR EVER,” which was obviously awesome), and we got to catch up for a bit. It was lovely.
We had our first Book Babes on Zoom since one of our Babes moved to California. It went well and fast. Afterward, I had a chili cookoff at Sterling’s school. I didn’t win, but the winner’s was super good, so I’m cool with it.
This weekend will be nuts because I triple-booked myself with a CrossFit competition (which is a team competition, so I have to be there) and an open house, and I need to be with Sterling because Tag and Bridger have plans. Ugh. I have a colleague helping with the first half of the open house so I can compete, and then I’ll rush to the house to take over the second half. And luckily, some friends are able to help with Sterling. Feel so warm and fuzzy when I think about how I finally have a tribe for the first time in my life!
Oh! This is pretty cool: On November 11, the alums from my high school and I are getting together to watch The Holdovers movie because it was filmed at our school! I’ll let you know all about it, but the reviews are good.
Did you go trick-or-treating this year? We went to Will-O-Wisp with some friends, and it was great but super packed. Fortunately, we went early and got good parking, and it was still daylight, so not as cold, but by the end, oh, boy. It was buusssyyy. We all had a nice night, though. I mean, candy... sooo….
Okay, so I found out that some new builds with pools and Mediterranean views are coming up in Greece in about 1.5 years for around 250,000 Euros. I’m considering putting down a deposit so I can get one. It gives me time to come up with the rest of the money and put a plan in place. Here’s my dream, though; picture it: A 15-bedroom bed and breakfast with a catamaran yacht, event center, farm, and a small farm-to-table restaurant. I mean, come on. How precious does that life sound?
My Colorado Real Estate Activity
The clients we ran into at the Mexican restaurant might have something coming up so that’s super exciting!
My Bailey client’s house is under contract! My Lakewood listing just went active yesterday, and we already received an over-asking offer sight unseen. The couple who wants the house lives in the neighborhood already, and they really want it, so my clients are thrilled.
I looked at the sweetest little cabin yesterday in Pine. It’s about 800 square feet, and it has a well and septic for $300,000. It’s only one bedroom, but there’s an additional non-conforming bedroom, too. This place would be a fantastic opportunity for someone! It’s listed by my colleague, Jessica Gentry. Reach out if you want to take a look!
