We went camping at Wellington Lake last weekend, and it was such a great time! The weather was perfect, and we had some good laughs with friends. It was a little hectic because I had to pick Bridger up from the airport at midnight on Friday, so he and I got a hotel in Denver; I worked a bit Saturday morning, then we headed to the lake. #WorthIt
Bridger’s D.C. trip was super fun, he got loads of history and politics, and I think he genuinely enjoyed learning. Sidebar: I really hope he doesn’t become a politician.
On Sunday, we went to watch the Rockies get destroyed by the Dodgers. It was such a bummer game, but it was still an excellent time with the fam. There were more people from California there than from here. Apparently, the Dodgers have the best team in the league at the moment. Anyway, we’ll get ‘em next time, Rockies!
I got all my steps in over the fast-paced weekend, too! I’ve been walking so much, and I’m so proud of myself for sticking to it! Bridger has his football schedule that’s a bit overwhelming, but it’s a good place for me to get more steps in, so it’s not so bad. I’m still doing the vegan thing, but sometimes I accidentally eat a non-vegan item (coleslaw, for example). I’m not beating myself up over it, though.
I mean, I can’t believe I’ve made it this far, and if I’m honest, it’s not nearly as difficult as I thought it’d be. Eating out is more of a challenge. I think there’s butter in 100% of everything. I’m not ever going to stress about accidentally ingesting something with a face, that I know for sure.
My mom is in Florida putting the final touches on our new place, so I’ll be listing it soon on all the platforms so you can book it! I’m really excited to see it in its final state. Pictures to come soon.
You guys into podcasts? You gotta check out the RedHanded podcast. It’s these two British birds talking about true crime stories, and they are not only witty but really informed and entertaining. Plus, they make me want to say super British words in a super British accent.
Colorado Realtor Activity
The interest rates have leveled off at between 5% and 6%. Older millennials haven’t seen rates this high as adults, but when our parents were buying homes, this was considered low. Keep in mind that it’s never the wrong time to purchase real estate if you plan on holding onto it for a while.
I have a new gorgeous listing in the West Ranch Community of Morrison. It’s 4500 square feet, four bedrooms, five baths, and has a stellar workshop. The clients are stellar, too. We’ve got showings booked already, and we’re not even active yet. I know this one will go fast. Check out the video!
The Eagle Cliff listing has closed finally, and all parties were awesome and flexible and easy and happy despite some hurdles, so that’s another happy client in the books. Gotta love that. And it was our second transaction together, gotta really love that!
I’ve got a few other things in the works, and I’ll spill those details as soon as poss! Hope you guys have a fabulous week, and we’ll talk again soon!
