Is it me, or do our kids these days just not know how good they have it? We do everything we can for them, give, give, give. And they just take with no reaction except disdain and disrespect and whining. It makes me wanna pull my hair out. So, that’s it; I’ve had it; I’m done babying these guys. Also, still no haircut for Bridger. This kid needs to hit the damn ball.
I’m now eating 1200 calories a day, and it’s brutal. It may be affecting my mood, but who knows?
Well, I’ve finished the hypnotist (was cool), and I’m going to a spiritual healer today. A friend of mine went to her, so I’m doing it based on a referral. I don’t have my hopes up, but it’ll be fun and, at the very least, entertaining. I think it can be really beneficial for those who have trauma in their lives, and, thankfully, I don’t really have any of that.
Tag may get a new job as a union organizer that would start in the fall. We’re putting the kibosh on the forestry job, and I’m down with that. I’ll support whatever he wants to do; he always supports me. The new gig would give him better retirement and a car and gas, regular hours, lots of kush, and I could be down for that. I know he could, too. He deserves it. He works the craziest hours so he should get a break.
I’m still doing CrossFit, and I can’t lie, I’m getting pretty strong. I did 90 squats holding 70 pounds the other day. Whaaaaattt? I can’t believe I’m doing stuff like that. I’m pretty proud of myself.
Oh, and I decided not to get the braces. No one wants to wear braces as an adult unless they absolutely have to, and honestly, I don’t. I’ll take some fillers and Botox all day long, though.
We booked our Cape Cod vacay, and we’re so excited. Lots to look forward to! My mom is coming early, and that’ll be great. Maybe we’ll get our lips done together. Girl’s Day!

I had a great lunch with some old clients yesterday. I adore it when clients become friends. It can’t get better or be more flattering.
Two new listings: one in Denver (past client) and it’s a small apartment, the other is a referral, and it’s a million-dollar horse property in Pine. Not sure when we’ll list the big one, they need to rehome a rescue horse first. And then they’re off on a grand adventure. Traveling and enjoying retirement. Sounds good to me. They’re a great couple. I love working with happily married older couples. It’s encouraging.
I have two closings next week: my land listings. Woohoo. My Honda listing is still on the market; that’s the one the neighbor is trying to buy. I’m working on some deals with the lender to see if we can get creative and help him out. I’m hopeful.
I hope you’re all enjoying the summer and the hot weather. I know I am. Every. Last. Drop. Man, we needed this. Until next time, guys, be kind and stay safe.
