Thanksgiving 2020.jpg

Just a quick post to tell you all that I’m grateful to you. You’ve helped me become a more confident, happy, reliable person, friend, mom, wife- all the hats I wear are better hats now. This year has been an SOB and although we could all complain and be sad and get discouraged, let’s try to focus on the fact that we have things to be thankful for. That alone is something!

I hope you get to enjoy this Thanksgiving in the best possible way. Facetime, Zoom, Skype, WhatsApp, distanced dinner, front-yard drive-bys, whatever it looks like for you, I wish you a happy day that’s full of love and laughter, even if you’re miles away from those you love.

Remember to be kind and patient with strangers, even if they aren’t that way with you. Just like they don’t know what you’re going through, you don’t know what they’re going through.

Maybe, with enough love, hope, kindness, courage, and tolerance, 2021 will be enough of a year to make up for all the losses in 2020. Let’s do it!

Make Your Life Better

Okay, this is a fun one, but more difficult than you may think. Write down who you were five years ago, who you are today, and who you want to be in the next five years. Remember, say who you want to be, not who you think you will be. You don’t need to be super realistic here. Have fun.

Do it with your friends, family, partners. Ask them to answer the same questions about you, and you answer the questions for them. It may be enlightening to see how others see you.

Happy Thanksgiving to all and to all a full belly!
